The Shun Nakiri knife was previously only available in the Shun Pro line (with the single bevel blade). Now, the popular Nakiri chopping knife has joined the Shun Classic knife line. The Shun Classic Nakiri is designed for chopping and is a traditional japanese knife shape.

Features:

• VG-10 Stainless steel is clad with 16 layers of SUS410 high-carbon stainless steel on each side, producing a 33-layer rust-free Damascus look with a Rockwell rating of 61.
  
• VG-10 "Super steel" is composed of Carbon, Chromium, Cobalt, Manganese, Molybdenum, Silicon and Vanadium.
